mill

mill

a milling machine at my job. i really wish i had a better exposure here;
it was 400 in the holga and i did what i could, which is basically "focus" and click.
i still think it looks a bit daunting though, which is what i was going for.

tri-x 400 in d-76 (full) for 10.

117

117

my apartment building as seen from the street.

portra400 (color) in the holga and cross-processed in d-76.
(full strength for about 10 mins if it interests ya)

when you break the "rules" there can be no mistakes.

this one needed minimal editing, and is more or less "as is". i scanned it as a positive, hit levels, then used image->adjust->invert along with a touch of curves, desat, and sharpen. i find photoshop useful but far from intuitive; it's taken a few weeks to realign myself with editing, and am starting to feel like i'm getting there.
